Pleasing-Prices is a rapidly growing Guernsey based "cyber-cottage-industry", founded in 2007 by chief photographer Rebekah-Philomena and chief executive officer Mike Phillips. We believe in service and quality at pleasing prices whilst ensuring a minimal carbon foot print. However, we look to a global market, through the internet, giving our clients 24/7 on-line access to our services.

Aware of the present economic situation we try to compensate for this in our pricing structure helping our clients in their need for affordable professional photography.

Rebekah-Philomena

Rebekah-Philomena, whilst at school, studied in the evenings at night-school for GCSE photography and joined the Rushden and Higham camera club. On leaving school she went to Falmouth College of Art graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in photography. After a short while, working in photographic processing and developing, she went to Reading University to take a PGCE in Art and Design and PQE. After a period teaching she went to De Monfort University, Leicester, graduating with a Masters in photography. 

Rebekah-Philomena has been exhibiting since the age of 19, and her latest exhibition is the Patina of Guernsey at Icart Point in Guernsey, is a photographic record of her present home in Guernsey. She is also an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers.

CEO. Mike Phillips

Mike was a professional photographer on the South Coast in the mid fifties covering social events, dinners and luncheons. After Exeter University his career progressed into computers. His expertise in computing and photography has been instrumental in founding Pleasing-Prices Ltd as a cyber-cottage industry company. He is an Associated Member Institute of Management Consultants, Member of the British Institute of Management, Member of the British Computer Society, Member of the British Production and Inventory Control Society.
